Forgive yourself! Don’t beat yourself up. Identify what contributed to it. Possibly you can take steps to avoid ending up in this situation again, but even if you do end up relapsing, don’t punish yourself for ‘messing up’.     Drink some nice hot tea if your stomach feels icky, brush your teeth, take a nice relaxing bath, rub your favorite lotion on your skin before you dry off. Pampering yourself might feel like you are ‘rewarding’ bad behavior, but when you feel gross, then you need self care. You are in a fragile state right now, so be gentle with yourself
